She wasn't afraid. I don't know about cows from elsewhere, but here, unless you explicitly try to scare them, their attitude typically sits somewhere between indifference and friendliness.
Maybe they have lots of human friends hanging around?
NorCal cows don't get much human interaction, cuz the calm lady with camera is fucking scary. Run away!
Sometimes it’s takes the perfect cloud/sky combination for black and white photos to really pop - you nailed it!
