One Meal - 12 Liquid Months
The bottle you see above contains one meal of 500kcal + 27 vitamins and minerals. This is complete food. It's been used in the medical world for over 2 decades.
Early 2014 it made a shift to the consumer market. A group of silicon valley software programmers thought it was best to strip down food to the most basic form: liquid nutrition. To save time, and to optimize nutritional intake, and to make a lot of money, of course.
This minimal approach towards food and nutrition says a lot about our current western productivity driven mentality. If food can be super efficient how does that affect the humans consuming this type of food?
That is exactly what I've tried to figure with the documentary '12 Liquid Months'. For one year I've solely lived on complete food to see how it would change my life.

Tried this liquid diet for summer 2016. wasn't that bad actually. My only complaint that I was "bored" flavor wise. Now I am aware of my flavoring options, I might try again
Yes, flavours are an issue. I noticed that long term I found neutral flavours to work much better for me.
