Original Short Film : "Green Man"
One of the first short films I have worked on as a sound recordist and sound designer. "Green Man" tells a story beyond words. One day in the life of an old man on his solitary journey through abandoned spaces.
Although the film has no lines of dialogue, the soundtrack is rich in nature and urban sounds. I created a distinctive sound everywhere the man goes, making the surroundings act as a major character in the storyline. Shot in 2013 in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, we get to witness the harsh reality of a typical small town forgotten in time with its inhabitants.
