Reality TV series "ALONE"

Three seasons of the show took place on Vancouver Island, and one - in the Patagonia National Park. Several people are placed on the island at a remote distance from each other. They have things that they were allowed to take (in a certain amount) and cameras. They shoot themselves plus there are cameras on the island. They need to build their own shelters, find food, sit and wait when other participants leave.

Everyone has a satellite phone to call the producers of the show and leave the game ahead of schedule.

Also, the participants are weighed weekly (if I'm not mistaken) and if they lose too much weight, they are excluded. It is clear that they must have survival skills and experience of living in the forest. And of course, a separate interest causes how each of them will cope with loneliness. I'm surprised that people can suffer from loneliness, because I'm the strongest introvert, but sometimes the amount of whining from the participants goes off the scale.

Since the 4th season, they have made an interesting change: now they survive in pairs (father / son, husband / wife, brothers).

One of them is thrown into the forest, the second one is left on the shore. And the one in the forest should get to his partner. If one is eliminated, the second one is eliminated too. It seems that it's easier to survive together, but the quarrels begin because of food, and two persons need more food than one). Instead of moral support, participants often receive from their partner curses and whining.

Well, whoever remains the last will receive a prize of $ 500,000.

Participants encounter all the realities of life in the forest: bad weather, storms, incessant downpours, wandering around bears, lynxes, and wolves, the absence of fish in the river. In the beginning, they all talk about their experience, what they are classy hunters and fishermen, but after a couple of hours they already call and ask them to pick up from the island, cause heard a bear.

In general, their behavior sometimes worries me and I begin to doubt that this show is real. For example, for two consecutive seasons, one of the participants necessarily lost the flint. Or there are such participants who are well settled, built a hut, fish a lot, rejoice. They tell how they really need this money, but then bam! and they exit the game. They can tell that they need to pay for the school / college children and so they went to the island and then it turns out that tomorrow his / her child has a birthday and the participant can not miss this day, it's the birthday of the child and he/she needs to leave. What? Seriously? And what about college?

Well, the nature is fantastic, of course. It is a pity that the quality of the shooting is not very good, after all, they shoot themselves. But I really like the show. In one of the seasons there was a funny moment that a fur sealer was tearing fish from a fishing net and was swimming next door, listening as a participant scolded it).
