Why the Fuck Should I Watch: GLASS

Why the fuck should you watch “Glass”?
• Mindfuck is the best kind of fuck you know.
• You want to see a suspense building movie where no-one is safe.
• You go to psychologist just to mess with her brain.
• You are insane. Then watch this movie to half way and you’ll be cured.

A Few years ago who would have thought that following things will ever happen:

1. The movie “Unbreakable” from the year 2000 gets a sequel.
2. Bruce Willis will ever again appear in a movie that isn’t a total garbage.
3. James McAvoy will be considered as the buffed up muscular one in any movie.

…Well, all these things just happened.

“Glass” connects two movies “Unbreakable” and “Split” and is a sequel to both. We will see James McAvoy with his 24 personalities, pissed off and gloomy David Dunn (Bruce Willis) who never gets injuries and a villain Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) who has incredible IQ but not so incredible body – his body is basically as useless as salad (his bones break like glass).

This movie has a relatively small budget, 20 million USD, and puts it’s focus more on suspense and the plot, not on big flashy action. Mostly it works and is quite interesting to watch. The main idea is ingenious actually (not going to spoil that) but for me it fell a bit flat in the end. They tried to make a mindfuck movie, but didn’t go full in with that and for these types of movies it’s always a mistake not to do that.

The best part in the movie was definitely three main actors who were all doing a great job with their characters and were fun to watch (Even Willis. I mean…why the garbage movies, man, you still got it!?). Samuel L. Jackson can entertain people with…doing absolutely nothing – that’s a talent, I tell you.

Why the fuck you shouldn’t watch “Glass”?
• You think that sitting men who do nothing are not fun to watch.
• You are like Mr. Glass and see plotholes everywhere.
• You still remember that your mother promised that toy car for your birthday and you didn’t get it! That feeling of disappointment…keep away from this movie, or this feeling will repeat itself and you’ll cry.
• You like plastic. Plastic is the best. More plastic!
