"Road" - a short documentary

a short documentary called "Road" i made it back in 2011 with a theme 20 years after communism financed from French Embassy in Albania in collaboration with Academy of Film and Multimedia Marubi. The documentary is in original language and with English subtitles.

 

Synopsis: 

Gjon was found in the dark times of communism in Albania. Spinning in his mind the idea of escaping from Albania through a way full of danger this plan looked qute stressful. After a long travel, Gjon arrives in a place where he could breathe freely. But at some point, one of those days he decides to return to Albania.
Turning his back to the life he created there, but not the spirit though, in order to fulfill his sense of freedom, homeland and identity.
