Marvel Studios Updates from the weekend (Spider-Man, Captain Marvel Trailer, Avengers 4 title)

BIG UPDATES FROM MARVEL STUDIOS

The last 24 hours have been buzzing with very important news pertaining to the MCU. Here are the updates we got from Ace Comic Con and from the press junket of Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Spider-Man: Far From Home
Thanks to Tom Holland and his instagram live feed, we were able to get the title for the second Spider-Man right from the star actor himself. Kevin Feige talked about Holland "leaking" the title, but it all seemed to be on purpose. Filming is expected to start in 2 weeks.

"You know, I don't want to talk too much about it. It's very early days. We're filming soon. We are filming. We will be based in London as we've done with many of our films for that one. We like that it ties into the title Homecoming, we like that. We like that the way Homecoming, there are multiple meetings."

Captain Marvel
I feel like I am pulling teeth trying to get any glimpse or detail about this movie, and now we find out that the trailer is still a few months away. She is so important to the MCU and Avengers 4, and with her becoming the first female led MCU movie, I am insanely curious on how they are going to represent her powers. According to Feige we are going to need to be patient. "Despite the heavy interest and Marvel's tendency to attach trailers for their upcoming movies with their newest release, Feige says the trailer is "still a few months" out." (Screen Rant)

Avengers 4
Even Feige himself said the build up of this title is going to let people down but it is necessary. Although conflicting reports were being thrown around the web, we now know it won't be revealed till the end of the year. Apparently the title relates to Captain Marvel and it will spoil that movie. Here is what Feige said back in April. "I've said before, it's gotten entirely out of hand. And now will have no chance to living up to any expectations of what it's gonna be. And it sort of backfired, if I'm honest with you, because the notion was to not talk about it so the focus was to be on [Infinity War]."

Now with the latest report from the president himself, we won't be getting the title till after the Captain Marvel trailer.

"That’ll be after the Captain Marvel teaser probably, announcing that title. It’ll be towards the end of the year with however we launch that film."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
According to James Gunn, the first script for the third movie in this wild adventure has been handed in. Some corrections will be made and everything will be sorted out. Filming should begin in early 2019.
