As time goes by, more and more I am switching from European, USA films to Chinese Films and despite the fact that each culture portraits films accordingly to their values, Chinese cinematography has evolved in such a way, that it's blend of 3d graphics landscape, special effects, editing, great acting, scriptwriting, locations and beautiful actresses - the actress Wei Zhao who portraits Princess Jing is such a beautiful actress - offered viewers an amazing cinematographic experience.
Actress Wei Zhao - the oriental beauty I fell in love with...
Painted Skin – the Ressurrection is a tale of demons quest to become humans, right in the middle of a War of the once divided China Kingdoms and the prohibited love of Princess Jing and a servant.
This scenario is screen-played with the right amount of fantasy, special effects and beauty, all that which a great film must offers to its audience.
DIrected by Wuershan - a Chinese with Mongolian ethnicity - Wuersham studied primarily Fine Arts at China Central Academy of Fine Arts and got involved into film making when in 1994 Wuershan studied Directing at Beijing Film Academy.
A 2013 film that I only had the opportunity to watch this weekend, is a must for anyone who loves the art of film making.
