According to Rudi, Tan Malaka's services for Indonesia have recognized the state through Presidential Decree No. RI. 53 of 1963 which established him as a National Hero. However, events aimed at reviewing Tan Malaka often get banned because they are pervading the teachings of communism.
"But the stigma attached to Tan Malaka's self, so this is my way of responding to fears that are deliberately created by a group of people," Rudi said.
