Humble Politician Nograj (2018) - Movie review / A satire on Indian politics

It has been a while since I last posted a review on a movie. The movie that I'll be reviewing today is "Humble Politician Nograj". The movie is a comedy and it is shows us the dirty picture of Indian politics. The problem with the politicians in India is that most of them are uneducated and allmost everyone is corrupt and they won't do anything without bribes.

Review

The movie revolves around Nograj, a corrupt politician in Bengaluru City. He lives a lavish life off of the taxpayers money and wants to reach a higher position. He is the representation of all the dirty politicians.

He likes making money off scams and he is a master at it. He is very greedy and because of his greed for money he even married a wealthy girl who is fat and ugly. The movie shows it in a satirical way, but it's sad to see the truth. The situation of the country is really bad, because of the people like Nograj.

The movie does make you laugh, but after laughing you realise it is actually true and feels awkward. After being fed up of all this mess created by politicians Arun Patil a businessman will enter politics to fix things up. But, Nograj uses his tricks to make the people believe that Arun is a bad person.

Conclusion

The movie is a must watch for all the Indians. If you are interested in seeing the dirty picture of India watch it.
