The Incredibles 2, The Wait is Finally Over!
14 years has been a very long pause for a sequel, especially when the movie had gained much popularity after the release. But the sequel will pick up right where the first movie left. There will be no 14 years gap, instead it will look like just a minute has passed from the first movie. This infromation is officially spilled by the movie's director, Brad Bird. So, for those who were curious about the family fight against The Underminder, you'll get to enjoy the fight. Here is the latest update video about The Incredibles 2.
As we can see in the latest sneak peek, it seems like the role has been switched. We can see in the first move, Bob was called for some "secret job" as it turned out to be Syndrome's revenge. But this time, we can see that it is Helen's time to shine, as she was called to do some "superheroes" act.
Clearly Bob seems exhausted, taking care of the kids while the Mom is on duty. But the sweetest thing is that he still tried his best. We still don't know whether Helen's superhero duty is not one of the trap, but learning from the first movie, that might be where the conflict lies.
It doesn't matter whether the plot is predictable or it isn't. People will still come and watch, it is all for the sake of old times and nostalgia. So don't forget, The Incredibles 2 will hit the teather on June/July 2018, save the date!
