This live-action is an adaptation from popular Japanese manga "Fullmetal Alchemist" created by Hiromu Arakawa.

The journey begin around 20th-century, there are two young brothers, they're experts in the magical art of transmutation, attempt to rectify a calamitous experiment they carried out as children when they tried to revive his mother through an experiment.

There are three homunculi who looks like members of a 1980's Gothic rock band. Yasuko Matsuyuki as (Lust), Kanata Hongo as (Envy) and Shinji Uchiyama as Gluttony. Their motives are hazy at best, and they’re always showing up with dialogue that’s not much different from what they’ve said before in anime.

“Fullmetal Alchemist” has released on December 1, 2017 (Japan). Directed and co-written by Fumihiko Sori and the stars are Ryosuke Yamada as Edward Elric (live-action Assassination Classroom's Nagisa), Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell (live-action Blue Spring Ride's Futaba), Dean Fujioka as Roy Mustang (live-action Happy Marriage!?), helped bring its stars to life.
