A Quick Salute to the Monolith

A few extra minutes and some Lego spacemen.
I couldn't help myself.

Between Kubrick's visual statement, Buzz Aldrin's thoughts on the moon of Mars (I'd have to dive deeper into the interview to say more, but it's an interesting clip), and the not-so-easy-to-explain giant objects scattered or placed about the planet, I'd say we have ourselves a pretty interesting topic, especially once you start lining up their coordinates with the patterns, cycles, or movements of stars and other planets.
