X-Men: Dark Phoenix is the sequel to X-Men: Apocalypse. This new step within the mutant franchise will adapt the well-known 'Saga Fénix Oscura', which features Jean Gray and his process of conversion into Fénix and, later, into Fénix Oscura. According to the latest rumors, the synopsis of the film would be as follows: Gathered by Professor Charles Xavier to protect a world that fears and hates them, the X-Men have fought numerous battles, have lived adventures throughout several galaxies and have faced enemies of enormous power, but none of this has prepared them for the greatest challenge they will have to face. One of its own members, Jean Gray, has obtained powers that go beyond human understanding. That power has corrupted him, turning him into what he had always promised to destroy. Now, the members of the X Patrol must decide if the life of the woman with whom they have shared so much is worth more than all the people who inhabit the planet.
