Beyond Disney's purchase of Fox, the company continues to do marketing for their film projects. One of them is for The New Mutants. This time they performed a promo about Sam Guthrie / Cannonball's charism played by Charlie Heaton,The super short clip uploaded over the official Twitter account of this movie features a stubborn Cannonball figure in a dark cave hallway with the words "Welcome to our nightmare" in yellow lit up all around him, Cannonball who is a native of Kentucky who grew up in a mining worker family. It has the power to manifest energy and one of them is to form a very powerful shield and the ability to slide a rocket with a very high speed. 

As we know Fox will be releasing a film from X-Men Universe entitled The New Mutants. Yet this film comes with a slight shift of genre from sci-fi to horror. According to the film's director and screenwriter Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars), the latest movie project of the mutant world is inspired by some classic horror movies like The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby and The Shining.

The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Illyana Rasputin / Magik, Maisie Williams as Rahne Sinclair / Wolfsbane, Henry Zaga as Roberto da Costa / Sunspot, Charlie Heaton as Sam Guthrie / Cannonball, Blu Hunt as Danielle Moonstar / Mirage and Alice Braga as Cecilia Reyes, The New Mutants will be released on April 13, 2018
