I stop off directors once it becomes a chore. Alexsei German for instance -- no thanks, 2 was enough. I'm kind of there with James Gray after his terrible adaptation of The Lost City of Z and the fact that he exists in a humorless, slow, plane of existence. But of course his next movie's synopsis is catnip for me:
