Hollywood is no stranger to cookie-cutter made to a formula movies. So when they first penned the idea for "The Fast and the Furious" they must have know they were onto a winner. But did they know it would be a multi-million dollar franchise spanning 15 years, 8 goddam movies juggernaut?

The Movies 1-6

It's a pretty simple formula, take a good looking cast, a tried and proven plot and add cars. Guys love cars, chics love cars, we all love cars. Just think about all the successful "car" movies over the years. If you can't, I'm about to give you some help.

Car movies sell and the fact we have FF8 is testament to that.But I digress. I was making a point..."Fast and Furious"(which I happen to love) is EXACTLY the same movie as "Point Break" (which I also am rather fond of).

So, down to the Nitty Gritty. I'm going to show you in explicit, blow-by-blow detail how

"Point Break" = "The Fast and the Furious"

So Here is the Plot to a Movie:

• A young FBI agent infiltrates a gang of sports enthusiasts in order to find out who is behind a string of robberies.

Dom + Brian = Bodhi + Jonny

• He befriends the muscular leader of the gang and falls for a female lead who has very close ties to the leader.
  

Ok friends with the leader, where is the babe?

Oh there she is !

...And again, she's even leaning over the counter.

• He tries to pin the blame on a rival gang, not realizing that the thieves responsible are in fact the gang he has become part of.
