Most people view the Fast and the Furious through the eyes of the Protagonist (Brian) played by Paul Walker. However, it is an entirely different tale, a tale of betrayal, tragedy and pain when you view it through the eyes of Vince.

THE TRAGIC TALE OF VINCE'S BETRAYAL

Vince is relatively happy in his life, he has a fast car and a good group of friends. He has been best friends with Dom since the 3rd grade, and Dom's sister the beautiful Mia is his love interest. All of that is about to change when the manipulative and deceitful Brian comes into their lives and tears his world apart. I will now attempt to tell you Vince's story.

1) The Sandwich bar

Vince notices that Brian stops every day at Mia's sandwich bar. His insight leads him to believe that he is not actually there for a sandwich, but has ulterior sexual motives related to Mia. He follows Brian into the car-park and confronts him, where Brian uses police training to administer a violent beating to Vince. Dom breaks up the fight and tells Vince that he embarasses him. Sad...

2) House party

Vince is enjoying himself at the party until he sees Brian arrive. He tries to argue that they don't know Brian and they shouldn't trust him. He is ridiculed and ignored by his best friend, who to add insult to injury gives Vince's beer to Brian. Cruel...

3) House BBQ

Later the next day, Vince arrives at his best friend Dom's house for dinner, only to find the evil snake Brian already there, he leaves in disgust at the betrayal from his best friend. He returns later and confronts Brian in the kitchen. Mia then cruelly makes him think that she will allow Vince to take her to his favourite restaurant, but then she asks Brian to take her instead, viciously tearing out his heart in front of his friends. Cold...

4) Vince follows and busts Brian at Hector's workshop

Vince uses his instincts and follows Brian one evening and finds him acting strange breaking into Jonny Tran's workshop. He is convinced that Brian is a police officer and confronts him. He tells Dom numerous times that Brian is a cop. Brian lies, and Dom believes him. Vince is humiliated again.

5) Friend Jessie killed

Brian organizes for a SWAT team to raid rival Jonny Tran's house and workshop. As a direct result of the botched raid on Jonny Tran, the innocent and Jessie, a simple and shy boy with ADD, is violently gunned down in the street. Jessie was like a younger brother to Vince, and because of Brian he's now dead.

6) Shot and half dead on the side of the road.

Vince ends the movie lying bloodied on the side of the road after being shot and dragged by a truck in a failed heist. He tried to tell Dom that they shouldn't do it, that it wasn't wise to go ahead without Jessie. Vince ignores him and it is ultimately this choice that results in his horrific injuries. Dom abandons him on the side of the road. Left for dead.

THE END

So..Vince was right all along. Brian stole his girl, was an undercover cop, and caused the death of his good friend Jessie. His best friend gone, his girl gone, and left for dead on the side of the road bleeding from gunshot wounds...

This is Vince's story.

A story of betrayal. Why wouldn't they listen ???
