The Status of Filipino language before and now

in #filipinolanguage6 years ago (edited)

Me together with my classmates were asked by our filipino subject teacher to create a symbolism about the condition of the filipino languange before and now.

We were only given 80 minutes to think and finalize about our topic. We will be graded so when we present our topic, of course we do it in a creative way.

Despite of having no talents in drawing, Me together with my groupmates( we are all boys) force ourself to draw until we made it.

That ship symbolizes the Filipino Language. The filipino languange is gradually missing. That is because of the influence of social media and of course because of the filipino people who do not know how to give significance in it. Because of social media, many people especially the youths has been influenced by some slang and gay languanges such as "charot" "werpa", etc., because they want to be part on new trends.

In addition, I think there's also a problem to our government. When we apply for a job, in an interview for instance, English languages- which is the Universal languange has been patronized. So, filipinos would truly lose courage in sticking for their national language, and they will spare their time in studying for another languages.

Jose Protacio Rizal, the Philippine's National Heroes, said that those people who do not know how how to love their native language, is more fishy than beasts and fish.

My classmates also expressed their ideas and their symbolisms about the topic. I totally agree with them.

I am @ryancalaunan leaving you a saying, "Native Language: The key of portal towards a wonderful and ardent tomorrow."
