Fraud and Offenses

Maybe one of the reason why there's no integrity in our country is because it's too narrow when we look at our sins. Our politics, economy, social institutions are broken because we, humans, are broken. We are defiled by sin. Let's fix our lives together with God. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. Let's also understand the context of our guilt in the society. The personal wrongdoing has effects to other people.

There is no clear translation of "sin" in our language. The sin came from the Spanish word "Sala" which mean "to miss the mark" or can't aim should what you aim at. That's why it is very useful to us those speeches "only human". We always put the blame on our fragile nature.

Let us also peek the chronic sin of many --- the fraud. Everybody knows that this is a sin. This is one of the external and internal wrongdoing.

External because we cheated our neighbors and others get angry. This is internal because there's a "guilt" inside the heart of the one who done it.

Because many knows that it is wrong to get benefits however others get hurt. This is not a sin which you just suddenly done or not intended. There's no just "had been deceived". What is that, tripped? Hence, cheating is inexcusable. To commit it, is to lose your integrity and undermine the dignity of other people. They say it's OK to have sin and violates the law just don't let get caught. If the guard is gone, the actions vary.

It has been a conflict of fraudulent our concept of deep gratitude. All of us is being united that if not to help then protect not to be hurt our fellowmen. If you cheated, then you have just forgotten your responsibility to love your fellowmen. This attitude is first came from the will of men. The Lord is right that what ever is inside your heart is also what we will you say and do to our fellowmen.

When my father first entered your country as a GI, ready to do battle with the Japanese, he immediately fell in love with not just the country but more importantly the PEOPLE. He said they were the most special people in the world. So he stayed after the war and married a Filipino. And dedicated the rest of his life to helping your country... yet he was eventually expelled for his 'sins'. And I suspect, the country has changed much since then.

Thanks for your post here. I wonder if you have seen that I will be soon telling the story of my father's life in the Philippines? I would be interested to know what you think. https://steemit.com/story/@samstonehill/the-untold-story-of-my-father-s-life-harry-stonehill-1917-2002

I'm excited to hear your story. Your father is right, the Philippines hosts I personally believe some of the most wonderful people in the world. I am married to a Filipina so I am slightly biased, but I am also well traveled so my opinion holds some validity.

I would suggest your father was expelled more so by a correct government than it's people, but I look forward to the story behind it :)
