Filipino Poetry #37 : " Paano Kaya?"
Dahil sayo masaya na muli
Ikaw ang dahilan ng bawat ngiti
Maligaya na muli ang damdamin
Maligayang bukas aking nasasalamin
Pagwari ko'y isa lamang panaginip
Kasiyahan sa pusoy di ko malirip
Anu nga ba itong damdamin
Dapat ko bang itago o dapat aminin?
Isang sulyap lamang sayo
Ay kumpleto na ang araw ko
Isang ngiti mo lang ay naakit ako
Sayong ganda ako'y nabighani mo
Subalit paano sayo aamin
Kung kaba sa dibdib di kayang awatin
Paano kaya ang aking gagawin
Mananatili na lamang ba sa ligaw tingin?
O dapat bang magtapat sayo at umamin?
