RE: #84 Filipino Poetry: "Pluma"

Thanks for sharing! I used Google translator to translate this to english. I think it's a beautiful poem, but can you tell me how accurate of a translation this is? The idea I gain from this is someone who is coming to terms with his/her own power. Let me know if I'm close! Thanks!

'Started the old way
until it becomes a valuable tool now
Painted in dark ink, used by poets
Now, colorful liquids are located at my end
There is a saying to me
I have a sharpened sword than anybody else's sword
I was delighted by what the audience said
But the tenet terms have a definite meaning

Use story writing tools
It's also a tool for destroying human life
I do not know where I am for where
Because the equipment was invented

I'm just one proud person who happened to me
The heroes are important to me
Even if considered,
important information to me is instructions'

You're close enough with your understanding but the whole thing is about a pen. A pen where you can use it in destroying or building something. But anyways, I appreciate your eagerness to know the poem :)

No problem! and ahh yeah that makes sense. But the true power is in who holds the pen right? :) Much love from Asheville!!

You said correct ...@themanualbot
