It arrives in eight minutes from our sun.
Our atmosphere scatters the spectrum of color.
Green light that sparks photosynthesis in plants.
A scattering of blue that keeps the sky its hue.
Only ultraviolet reveals rock’s luminesce.
So warmth lands on our planet.
Light brings life.

    Well that's certainly one way to write about light. Way to create an ode for the sun's rays! It's such an underappreciated resource that we cannot live without.
