50 word Story Contest Week #17 - Growing Pains

She was seven, and like the rest of the girls she was small.    

Now she’s seventeen, and unlike the rest of the girls she’s still small.  

One day she asks: “How come I’ve stopped growing mum?”   

Her mother replies sweetly: “You haven’t stopped growing dear, and you never will stop.”
