Hi, I'm @jmromero and I learnt about the Contest through its announcement post.
Here is my entry:
Began my trip with fire in my eyes.
Seeing you again was my only desire.
At mid of my voyage I knew it was doomed,
You stopped writing, “another man” I presumed.
All we lived, you were not mine.
At the end of my trip, no spark on my eyes.
