    Looked it up and I'm still not sure if I understand this syndrome... Does it seem like what happened in my story?

      Basically it's where someone poisons someone else to gain attention or gratitude for taking care of them. It's probably just me that thought of it when i read the story.

        Ouch!! hopefully not... The mother will be irredeemably evil if she did that. (wait, that does seem like a good story too!!)
