Fifty Words Story - "Wave"
The sea was vicious. Each wave taunted them, sapping them of the hope for something better than what they had left behind on dry land. They wept, they shuddered, they prayed. When finally that hope was all but gone, one last wave swept them all ashore, shaken but mercifully intact.
This one had more of a positive spin even though things could get difficult for our travelers depending on where and when they washed ashore. At least nobody exploded this time 😊. You can check out the rules to the challenge on @miniature-tiger's blog.
