50 Word Story Contest Week #15
The river was wide and the current was strong. They weren't far behind him. Tucker took a deep breath and jumped into the water. It was freezing cold! The current pulled him under. His lungs burned as he was pulled along underwater.
"So, this is what it's like to drown..."

We are doing some upgrading/remodeling in our house. Busy summer ahead of us. Thanks for missing me. I appreciate it very much.
I'm with you @manandezo - nice to see you @dottie! ...curious about Tucker ... what was going on and did he actually make it.

I hadn't decided who or why Tucker was being chased - just that he was... but it doesn't look like he made it, but ya never know... ; )

Thank you @manandezo and @mprogrmmr!! I had to decide to give more info or go with the ending I untimately chose with having only 50 words. I don't think he made it. If I get the chance in another 50 word contest to add another chapter maybe I will expand on this one.
