OMG, I thought I was missing what this short story has to do with the picture until the end! Loved it:)
Thanks for the nightmares for the next time my cat gives me a dead cockroach by the way
Like birds, cats have a homing ability that uses its biological clock, the angle of the sun, and the Earth's magnetic field. A cat taken far from its home can return to it. But if a cat's owners move far from its home, the cat can't find them.
Love the cat - and just learned pixabay is not the only source out there - your cat is from pexels.com - good to know!
Sad story, if you're a cat whose gift is so rejected :)
A vote for definitely more sinister catty motives! I very much liked this little piece. :)

Perhaps it was actually just a gift...
Just kidding, do you really think that a cat would do something without having sinister motives? Haha...😼
:D I got the idea from this: http://theoatmeal.com/misc/frame/cat_kill
A cat can travel at a top speed of approximately 31 mph (49 km) over a short distance.

When a cat chases its prey, it keeps its head level. Dogs and humans bob their heads up and down.
The kitty cat is too pretty to have mean motives! :-)
The real sinister ones are much to sneaky to let people take their pictures...

Yeah, Pexels has less then Pixabay but overall the pictures are better quality so I prefer it.
