Tradition and Science - Fifty word challenge
[source from @jayna]
Eating,
it's bones and blood
A Passage unto adult
Delanko devour the eagle.
Proud,
Wed in months time
Awaiting the joyful rhyme
Out came a baby cry
Taboo,
Baby came with wings
Looks like a raccoon
Tradition, science meet
The Culture that brought him to adulthood took his son away
This is my entry into #fiftywords contest by @jayna.

A very thoughtful write. Amazing:)
Am glad you love it.
That is a very interesting story/poem, @botefarm. I would love to know the "story behind the story" if you feel like sharing your vision.
It's just funny, it borne out a movie :Apocalypto where a guy was told to eat the bull's scrotum and cork raw to make him fertile just to have children, here too there are many things people eat to attain some things /level with deadly health consequence.
Yikes! Well, we have our crazy people too. :-)
I really enjoyed your use of the concept of rituals in culture having supernatural or paranormal effects. And making them blatantly real like in your poem fuels the imagination.
Am glad you love it.
