I don't check my mentions often. Sorry I didn't catch this sooner.
The current psychological literature indeed advises to "Let them be themselves!" Followups show that people by and large prefer whatever genitals they were born with, regardless of what gender they are inside. Reconstructing the externals to fit our idea of normal and supposedly to save the child from psychological trauma from peer rejection etc., is in fact more often than not child abuse.

I'm glad you think so. but it seems none of the other writers agree. perhaps they don't like the topic ? or have any sympathy for their suffering? this is a very unpopular piece this week around!
