An elusive night out - A Fifty Words Story
They don't get out often anymore. Parenthood does that.
He picked his newest shirt, lemon yellow with little patterns. He was looking sharp and was looking forward to a night on the town with his wife.
He went downstairs.
"Nice shirt Daddy" said little Becky.
Not so cool after all!

Ha ha ha... It's actually based on a true story, but about my brother in laws shirt! :o)
Very nice story! Families are so funny. Our sense of self can be so impacted by what they say, or even a raised eyebrow. I love that there’s a true story behind this.
