What are we actually doing?

Today one of my friend asked me something and that really left me thinking over this matter seriously.

He said,' what do you think this society is trying do with us? Do you actually thinks that we are free?'

And as I thought, I came across to realize that no we aren't. The system of this society is created to make us slaves. It's an illusion created by the society that we really don't understand or to be accurate we are not given the chance or opportunity to think over it.

What does this system do? It implants a theory that,chase after your dream and you would be successful. Then you can live your life to the fullest. Seriously? I have to achieve my dreams to be living my life? Ok let's say my dream is to be a drummer in a band. Now what the society would do? It'll force you to become someone to be recognized by others. If you can't live uo to that,then you're failure. And we without even thinking twice starts the race and when after struggling a lot can't reach there lable ourselves as failure.

Seriously guys? My dream is to be a drummer not be the best,to be recognized by others. If I can keep going with the passion and the live towards it I might not be a famous person but won't be a failure either. And living life? Well I'm doing this everyday,by smiling with my loved ones around me. Having an iPhone is my desire not my need. I need smile and love to live not a Lamborghini.
