When it Badly Hurts

Mirabella had a sweet relationship with her heart throb, and it was an heaven on earth relationship. He was the first man in her life. After a whril courtship period of less then two years, they got married in what could be called a society wedding.

Every prominent person in the entertainment industry were in attendance.
Mr Mark is a producer and at the same time runs a marketing company for audio and home made videos.
His wife had to let go of her teaching job to help in overseeing the events in the company after wedded. She was soon caught up in the glittering world if entertainment. Their life kept going on the fast lane. If there wasn't an important launching occasion to attend today, there would be a birthday or house warming party tomorrow.

After few years, Mirabella being a naturally reserved person began questioning the essence of their way of life. She got tired of it all plus the fact that their marriage had not been blessed with any fruit if the womb she desired a more dinner lifestyle but her husband could not see anything wrong with their way of life.

He kept reasoning that the world was at their feet. He was doing well in his business and it was booming as he was the toast of every successful artiste. Most if not all wanted to identify with him. He got numerous amounts of invitation cards, there was no way he could satisfy all but he tried his best. He pointed out to her that the most she should do was to support him. He kept emphasising to her that there was an image to protect.

Mirabella only started having the feeling of loneliness as she so longed for a change of lifestyle and kids running around the house. She just couldn't do away with the thoughts of her child referring to her as mummy. At this point she felt she needed someone to talk to, she needed inner peace, she longed for the right feeling of happiness. In the course of time, she gave her life to Christ. She acknowledged her sins and the vanity if the worldly pleasure without Christ. She received cleansing after confessing her sins and she forgiven and renewed in the heart.

Her husband got infuriated "where would God gut into our lifestyle now?" he thundered. Mrs. Mirabella had been counselled by her church leaders to keep praying for him and to exercise patience, she was advised not to deny him any of her duties as his wife and she faithfully observed the counsel. She was fervent in her services to God, finding a different lifestyle as opposed to the way of destruction she was going before.

Mr. Mark took ill. He did not respond to medication. In exasperation, a general medical examination was inquired for by the doctor, the results came out showing he was HIV I and II positive. His wife was immediately sent for the sane test and she confirmed positive too, though it had not developed into a full blown AIDS, Mirabella was shattered.

She could not figure out which was more painful, the discovery that her husband had not been faithful to her all these years or that she contracted the dreaded disease from him. How does she manage the crises?.

It was at this instant that Mark started pleading that she shouldn't leave him. He promised to repent and turn a new leaf. She wasn't going to leave him at this point he needed her most, so she stayed with him, and after taking the retroviral drugs for some days, he was OK.
Going back home, everything changed for good. Mark gave his life to Christ too and there was a total transformation in his life. Though he lost most of his clients and didn't receive as much invitation cards as usual, he felt fulfilled and was now happy with his wife.

After two years of his discharge from the hospital, they both welcomed sets of twins and for the first time in a long time Mirabella felt so happy. Her dreams were coming true and she was finally going to be called mummy, after 7 years of marriage. She could now face other women in her neighbourhood who gossiped that they exchanged their children for the wealth they acquired.

She was not just happy that she finally had children, she was glad she will raise them up in the godly manner. She was however thankful that none of them will come to experience the kind if life they moved lived as couples.
They lived happily ever after and had another set of twins. The family grew in peace and unity.
