"...but did he ask for your number?". Sandra asked
"Yes". Janet replied.
"Are you sure that girl is not his girlfriend?". She was talking about the thick girl they saw that night.
"No o. She spoke to me that night. She was nice".
"You guys will look good together". Sandra said
"Me and the girl?". They laughed.
"You and Ub". Ub(you bee) was the boy's name, short for Ubong.
"Eh..."
"He's cute and tall".
"Like...very cute. I wish he'd call me right now... ". She wasn't grinning and rolling know the bed.
"Hmm, drunk in love". Sandra replied. She was scrolling through her news feed on facebook.
"Look at this girl, in secondary school she was a hardcore nerd now she thinks she's hot, she posts stupid pictures".
"Let me see...". She turned her phone so Janet could see. "She's not even that pretty". Sandra faked laughter, she wasn't in support of women badmouthing other women.
"She's not ugly though, I just don't like the way she sticks out her tongue in all her pictures". Her phone rang. It was an unknown number. She picked it.
"Hello?"
"Yeah, good evening".
"Good evening". She replied
"Uh...you called me earlier". She tried to recall.
"Oh, that wasn't me, it was Daniel. He called you with my phone. He's not here now though".
"Oh, okay. Thanks"
"Alright".

It was 9pm, Sandra was sleepy. She decided to open her watsapp messages before going to bed. There was no messages. The only person she really liked to chat with is Daniel but he wasn't online. She swiped to the statuses. There was a strange number at the bottom. She tapped on it. It was David's number. He posted three photos, one of himself alone the other with his friends. Sandra recognized them. Daniel, Ayo, and Kachi. So Daniel had used her phone to call David, now she had David's number, the fine, rich, proud, bearded David that everyone except her liked. David that would never bother to talk to her whenever she was with Daniel. That David. Normally she would delete numbers she didn't want in her phone but she thought that maybe Daniel would want to call David with her phone another time so she left it. Not that it excited her she had his number. For some reason she decided to post on her status that night. Not that she hoped David would watch her status and notice how pretty she was and probably...hit her up or anything like that. She hadn't been taking in a while pictures but she would use an old one, her favorite one because she didn't use filters but it was cute. She had 565 likes on facebook for it. It was her watsapp profile picture too. She had taken it about five days ago, but she posted it and captioned "Throwback❤❤❤".
