THE ABDUCTION! (FICTION) CHAPTER 2

Ade took a deep breath 😥 then decided to go back home to get the keys to his workshop. On reaching his house , he opened the gate , got into his room and behold, the keys were on his chair . He took the keys , looked around 👀 , and he went outside to his backyard to confirm if anyone had entered into his house earlier but he found nothing, just the grasses and the vast expanse of land that contained nothing but trees 🌲 .

Leaving his house , he pondered 🤔 upon what had happened earlier that morning as he couldn’t comprehend it. He got to his workshop 🔨 in no time and was bringing out his furniture for display. It wasn’t up to ten minutes before Prince showed up . Ade began to explain what happened to him earlier that morning and all Prince was doing was listening 👂 and exclaiming when it seemed necessary. Soon thereafter, a blue car 🚗pulled up in front of Ade's workshop and Prince had to leave because Ade had to attend to the customer.

Mr Tobi, One of the richest men in the land of Zebo was building a mansion and wanted to buy furniture so he decided to come to Ade. Ade was so happy that Mr Tobi had come to purchase all his furniture, that he sold them at a good price. Prince’s workshop was not too far from Ade’s . Prince was enraged and furious when Mr Tobi drove 🚗💨 past his workshop. Prince had expected Mr Tobi to stop by his workshop to give him a welding contract but unfortunately for him, it didn’t happen.Prince was so envious and jealous 😒of Ade, but there seemed to be nothing that he could do.

The next day, An empty truck was in front of Ades’s workshop , waiting for Ade to arrive. Ade was pleasantly surprised to see it when he got to his workshop that morning. Immediately after opening his workshop , Ade and the truck driver began to load up the truck with the furniture . Prince, standing from a distance was filled with anger that he sought bring Ade down . After about 40 minutes of work, Ade was done with the loading of the truck and his shop was now empty because every furniture he made was stylish and exquisite.

Prince in all the days of his work, had not received the amount of money that Ade received in one day because of how good Ade was at his job . Prince therefore concluded that Ade would be keeping money in his house because there was no bank nearby for Ade to go and store his money, so Prince came up with an evil plan.

Prince at the end of the day, went to the ghetto area of Zebo land and hired some robbers to rob Ade that night🌒. Ade, who was completely oblivious of the plot Prince had against him, later in the evening went to tell Prince that he now had some money and that he’d soon be relocating from the small house that he presently occupied. Prince was very unhappy but concealed it with smiles and fake laughs. After a long time of discussion, Ade finally decided to go home. On his way home , he felt an urge to sleep somewhere else that night, he ignored the feeling and said to himself, Whats the worst that could happen?

He finally got home, locked the gate behind him, and just as he was about to enter the house, he felt the urge once again not to sleep in his house that night, and once again Ade ignored it. He entered into his house and locked the door behind him. He went and cooked food 🥘 for he was famished. Just as he sat down to eat, there was a flash of light outside.

Ade jumped up , unlocked his door, and rushed outside to check if anyone was trespassing but he saw 👀 no one. Utterly confused as to where the flash of light he saw came from, he locked the gate once again, got into his house , and locked the doo. He sat down and started eating, the urge came for the third and final time, and although Ade was uncomfortable, he ignored the urge for him to stay away from the house that night. He finished eating his food, took his bath , and went to bed. He couldn’t sleep for he was restless. After tossing and turning for about an hour, he slept off .

A loud sound at the gate made Ade to jerk back to consciousness. He was sweating profusely, he quickly reached for the light switch, he flipped it severally, the lights refused to come. He started searching for his flashlight, 🔦 then he heard the kitchen door open with a slight creak 😱 . Ade was shaking with fear , but there was he could do at that point in time, everywhere was dark so he started groping in the dark for some thing hard and heavy and Alas! He grabbed his hammer 🔨 and tiptoed slowly to his room door . He heard the table shift, and just as he was about to rush out to attack the person, he received a heavy slap on his facethat rendered him senseless💫 for about a minute, in front of him stood three masked men, two of which held cutlasses and the third man who slapped him held a gun 🔫 ...
