Very good fiction story, @nancybriti. Well conceived of the young protagonist and his psychology before the desire of that mature woman, unattainable beauty, and the nearness of death. Coincidentally, the image of "so far, so close", since Wenders' film, has been one of my favorites. The application you give it in your story is extremely suggestive.
