I think the poem was an anecdote in letting Brody know that he needs to put in more hardwork, and I love the fact that he discovered this quickly, splendid scenario there it was a master literary piece
It's a real poem, written by the man who purportedly hid a real treasure. That makes for a fun setting for this fictional story.
Yeah it made for fun for the fictional story lol and I enjoyed reading, can't wait to see a third part
