"He is too fat!" Daina screamed on her way to the kitchen. She opened her arms wide to emphasize on the last word. Her facial expression revealed how bad she hates chubby guys. Adeola couldn't help but stare at her ass as she walked past her. Men have every reason to go after her. Her hourglass figure and round lips has made many straight women doubt their sexual orientation. Silence ensued immediately she disappeared from the sitting room. The relief Adeola felt afterwards was cut short by Rihanna's voice. It emitted from the phone on the table facing her.

"He is the one calling, right? " Daina shouted from the kitchen. "This man should leave me alone."

Adeola knew the chitchat will go on forever no matter what she say, but she had to tell her friend the truth. She waited for her to enter the sitting room before saying what might cause a misunderstanding between them. But the plate of eba and vegetable soup Daina brought along made her changed her mind. She was too hungry to start a drama. Instead, she went to the kitchen to wash her hands. The phone had stopped ringing when she came back. They were half way into the meal when it rang again. Adeola used that opportunity to take a meat; she knew her friend will be less focused on the food but on chitchats about the guy.

"I have a feeling he is jobless, too."

"Common! This doesn't prove he is jobless. This dude isn't as bad as you painted him. Just let him know you are not interested instead of playing hard to get." Adeola replied.

Daina tried replying her immediately but the morsel of eba she swallowed didn't go in as planned. She had to drink enough water to get her voice back.

"Me? Playing hard to get? He is not my type abeg."

"Okay, Miss Universe, who are your types?" Adeola asked amidst laughter.

"I'm disappointed in you, Adeola. You should know my type already. You must be rich with six packs to qualify first."

"Is this Jude rich?"

"I don't know and I don't want to know. That guy looks like he can give birth to me."

"Except the picture you showed me was taken twenty years ago, you are exaggerating." Adeola remarked on her to wash her hands again. They were already done with the meal.

"Are you trying to force me into liking him? Daina attacked. She stood and went after her. " You can have him. Last time I checked, you are also single."

The perfect time for Adeola to speak out what she always has in mind arrived again. She had a murderous look as she stared at her friend.

"Listen..."

Rihanna's voice spoilt the moment once again and Daina sang along instead of picking the call.

"Work work work work work work - you see me, I be work work work..."

"Pick the call goddammit!" Adeola shouted. Daina added some dancing steps with her buttocks to complement her voice. She ran to the sitting room when she noticed the plastic plate Adeola picked from the kitchen sink. She was sure it was meant for her.

"I will, ma'am." She said as she sat down on the only chair in the living room. "Don't worry, I'm doing this for you. Time for some matchmaking!"

Adeola proceeded to wash the dirty dishes. She finished almost immediately and was surprised to see Daina talking to the guy. She had thought the call won't last long. The masculine voice on the other end of the call caught her interest. She has a weak spot for baritone voices.

"I was wondering if you will be chanced to go with me." The voice said.

"I'm very busy this weekend, but don't worry, your ticket fee won't go to waste. I have a friend that loves movies. She will be happy to go with you. I will send you her number now. Have you a nice day. Bye." Daina replied and hung up the call.

Adeola saw her type her number as a text and send it to a strange number. She didn't know if she should be mad with her, but she really wanted to meet the owner of the voice.

Jude watched as Kola talk to the lady of his dreams. He had been receiving lectures from him on how to woo a lady. He wants the lady badly, so he thought professionals in the game like Kola will get the job done for him. Kola's reaction changed as the phone conversation ended.

"What did she say?" Jude said as he adjusted his seat.

"Something about sending her friend's number and some other gibberish I can't explain. Don't worry, we will nail her. There is something..."

The beep from the phone stopped him from continuing. He got a text message from her. A phone number popped up as he opened it.
