Stampede into the crypto currency space

What would be the implications of a mass migration of a large percentage of global population into the crypto space. I am talking all of a sudden no time for usual learning curve to assimilate the info and gain understanding. Just a mad desperate rush out of fiat. Would there be unique opportunities for those already here and somewhat familiar with the landscape? With change comes opportunity and with massive change comes massive opportunities. What prey tell might they be. After all, is this really that far fetched synereo? Just something I am thinking about. Please share any thought you may have below. Thanks.
