Flor de Venezuela
En Diciembre del 2014 tuve la oportunidad de visitar La Flor de Venezuela un Centro Cultural, también llamada alternativamente Flor de Hannoveres, es una estructura localizada en el área conocida como Triángulo del este en la ciudad de Barquisimeto la capital del Estado Lara - Venezuela. Ese día tuve la oportunidad de conversar con su arquitecto diseñador, el venezolano Fruto Vivas, quien me permitió tomarme una foto junto a el antes de su programa de radio, para regalársela a mi hija que en esos momento cursaba la carrera de arquitectura.
La flor de Venezuela es un sistema de 16 pétalos que pueden abrirse y cerrarse. Se inspira en los Tepuyes de la Gran Sabana de Venezuela y en la Flor nacional de Venezuela, la Orquídea, Posee numerosos jardines y bosques representativos de Venezuela, peceras, una biblioteca y un anfiteatro.
Los invito a los que tienen una oportunidad de visitarla, que lo hagan. Esta escultura representó a Venezuela en la expo mundial de Hanóver, Alemania en el año 2000, es de hay por el cual también se le conoce con el nombre Flor de Hannover.
Es de mi interés mostrar a los venezolanos y el mundo las riquezas geográficas, cultural y social.
