We took our dear friend and her husband to a restaurant in the trendy part of San Antonio tonight. Down on Grayson is in the Pearl District, near downtown.
We started off with an appetizer of crispy brussels, housed-seasoned brussels crisped, served with Sriracha mayo. These were very tasty and crisped to perfection. I know these were my favorite of the night.
Our second appetizer was avocado toast. Fresh avocado atop toasted seeded bread, sprinkled with salt, EVO, and pepper flakes. Four triangles per order.
My entree was a Reuben, garlic toasted fresh rye, premium corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese & thousand island dressing in the side. As you can tell by the photo, I was so hungry that I forgot to take a before photo and you only got the after. This Reuben was a very generous portion and I had this left over.
This is a very nice casual dining restaurant, the food was good, and I will be back. 👍👍

And about the bite one, completely normal.
I actually told them all about the #freewrite and photo taking before we got to the restaurant, so I wouldn't get those annoying stares. 🤭 The birthday girl Tina, was the one that reminded me that I didn't take a photo of my Reuben. Then I forgot the desserts. (duh)
I love me some crispy brussel sprouts too! Of course avocado toast is always on my favorite list. Great food fight entry and welcome to the family @wonderwop. It’s good to have you :)

You better take @felt.buzz with you someday - he likes his Brussel sprouts!!! i like them too and always have - but most people didn't until they became a fancy appetizer in the new age type restaurants 😄
My mamma always made them when we were growing up, smothered in butter, it was like eating little cabbages. 😋
That all looks extremely delicious and I woke up at 4:30 this morning starving LOL I have a box of crackers in my bedroom fortunately to snack on so that I don't have to hobble into the kitchen. It did the trick but I sure would love to try those brussel sprouts crisps! I'm also a big fan of Reubens. I'm happy that you got to get out and enjoy a meal with your friends!

hugs! I know! Jeff wants to fly the plane soon, but I explain it's going to be a little while before I can talk myself into that tight cockpit LOL
