Did you know it doesn’t get hot in England? Man, I didn’t know that. California raised means “sure, I’ve heard of winter, we just don’t celebrate it.” We like to keep everything between 50 and 90 in LA. England—different story.

Being naive and understandably ignorant to geography, prior to arriving here, I could show you where England is on a map, they have a few football games here each year, that’s about it. Well, that difference in distance from the equator compared to the United States says a lot about climate.

They don’t have summer here like California doesn’t have a winter, did you know that? Man, I didn’t know. We’ve already had to buy pants and a jacket but we’ll need more. Won’t be needing these board shorts anymore—nope!
