I don't know this holiday. But from what I know of other Indian holidays, it's probably a good time, there's probably good food, and maybe a good party to go along with the meal. So, count me in on the celebrations too.
@thelonelypost On this day, sisters of all ages tie a talisman, or amulet, called the rakhi, around the wrists of their brothers, ritually protecting their brothers, receiving a gift from them in return, and traditionally investing the brothers with a share of the responsibility of their potential care.
