"The idea for this series of posts is to suggest and to take a closer look for the upcoming festival season in Croatia, and believe me, we have so much to offer! In each post, I will present my TOP 5 festivals that I attended, plus I will mention some other worth mentioning."
Disclaimer: All of the festivals in my TOP 5, and the other ones that I will mention, I visited last summer. Some of them I visited more than once.
4. SuperUho Festival (Primošten)
SuperUho (super ear) as a completely different festival than previous ones that I reviewed. In fact, the environment is kind of the same - sea, sun, nature, music, food and drinks... but little bit different music.
First two years of the festival it was located in the Šibenik town. First edition on the public beach near old factory ruins - very "summer post-apocalyptic" atmosphere, within the factory walls by the sea, really unique venue. Second edition was located on the renovated medieval fortress of St. Michael in the heart of the old town with also very special and unique atmosphere. Last two years festival found a new location, and it seems that it will stay there for a long time. Bila Lučica is a small abandoned cove near city of Primošten. Beautiful beach, cliffs, crystal clear sea and unfinished hotel near give this location really special touch.

The concept of the festival is something that makes this festival different then other festivals. It's quality that counts, not quantity. So, this festival brings together good music with good food and drinks - quality content. Good music!? Oh yes, it's all about indie, rock, post punk, post rock, punk, post metal, experimental... You want the names? No problem! Flogging Molly, Mark Lanegan, The National, Devendra Banhart, Fuck Buttons, Mudhoney, Of Montreal, Frank Turner & the Sleeping Souls, Black Lips, Chelsea Wolf, Shellac, Buzzcocks, Rosetta,... enough?
SuperUho is probably the only festival where you can find craft beers at the bar. Hah, yes, it's true. Four kinds of Croatian finest super cold craft beers are just waiting for you. If you want some snack you can always grab some tasty burger or local little fishes called "girice" (smelt) and if you want something sweet you can taste homemade fresh rolled ice cream, pretty unique huh? :)
Also, there are all kinds of daily things to do, and also a lot of workshops for the kids and the older ones, for example, you can watch a movie projection on the beach, I bet you didn't do that in your life? :)
Even though SuperUho is a way smaller festival than previous two, and it provides a little bit different style of music, it has guaranteed a place in my Festival TOP5 because of the different and unique content and the whole idea behind the festival.

Moga bi jedan od opet bit The National s obzirom da su izdali novi albuN.
Zadnje dvije godine mi prijatelj prica o festivalu, ali nazalost zbog posla nisam mogao doc...super izgleda
Eto prilike već za 7 mjeseci, get ready :D
