I think it's also important that Bee was calling out an individual using a word that many of us would like to reclaim. It is particularly important that she is a woman using this word. Would be wholly different in my mind if a man said it. Roseanne, on the other hand, was insulting a whole race by using that terminology. I know she was also talking about a particular person, but I see that kind of language as insulting a whole race. Again important she is not part of the marginalized group using that language.
