    I think you've made a strong case why trading isnt worth doing for 90% of people.

    1. It isn't fun.
    2. It is very very difficult.
    3. Most people lose money.
    4. "It's exactly the same as paying poker". Gambling?
    5. You won't get high cards very often.
    6. You need to be very patient (most people aren't)
    7. You could get completely liquidated and lose everything. It's extremely risky.
    8. people underestimate the difficulty and the emotional strain.
    9. It's extremely technical.

    Also people can't be bothered learning how to even read a chart (which takes time and effort to learn).
