very proud pigeons
Some pics today from our meeting with @bambuka. We spotted a non-street based pigeons, some elite breed ones, i dont know its name. but they do differ! I used my new 16-35 wide lens on them.
Can you believe mother nature have created it? It does experiment from time to time, but it doesnt create useless things... So I have a strong suspicion it is more a human product, than a nature's.
tried another angle of the scene -> got a poor photo. resume: different angles are possible, and deserve to try... but some do not deserve even trying it.
this is a long shot; main street of the city is on the background - Nevskii Avenue. Needless to mention we were suggested to have a photosession with these pigeons, for some silly money (that is the only reason them to exibit their birdies there). But I declined, instead I just cashed those pigeon-holders a bit 'for the feeding purposes' ... and take pics for free.

These folks all the way imposed and offered me to take the pigeon in my arms - and I refused all the time, then they dared to put a pigeon on my hat! Fortunately for me, the pigeon did not want to defecate at this time. I prefer to enjoy them from a distance - perhaps, a close distance is better, but anyway.
Now, looking forward for @bambuka to post his takes on this.
I provide this for #featheredfriday challenge, by @melinda010100 and @keithboone

I like the cinnamon pigeons, i sometimes see wild ones downtown in chicago with patches of white mixed in.

we dont have this breed here, 'in the wild conditions'
I am glad I had a chance to watch them so close,
they turned out to be pretty photo-genic!

The "wild" ones downtown will eat out of your hand if you have millet. Most are pretty mixed up with different colors these solid ones are a rare sight.
