White-throat Sparrow

This time of year there are only about a dozen
songbirds to photograph in this area.
This sparrow is usually in a flock and near.....

Found through most of Canada and the U.S.

throat. This one has a tan stripe above the eye, most
have a white stripe. All have the yellow spot on the ....

We have some of these around here in the San Francisco bay area. They run in little groups with goldfinch, bushtits, chickadees. I've been trying to sort them out lately :) Nice photos!

It's a popular hiking, birding area, and people leave seeds out for them.
The chickadees land on my camera while I am taking shots...lol
ha! really? The little ones land on your camera? Wow that would be interesting to see but you'd need someone with your to catch that! lol. that's too cool.
