Amazing shots Lady Joan and usually other birds try to protect their young by harassing the Harrier Hawk in flight. Maybe he was close to the Stork's nest and the stork decided to keep an eye on him. Blessings!

That would make total sense Stephen, there are a lot of Woolly-necked storks living in this area, never seen their nests.

That is an amazing shot to catch the hawk chasing the stork! Well done. I think I like eagles and hawks the best and you've got some nice hawks here. Thank you for sharing with Feathered Friday. Voted and Resteemed :-)

If you post again next week, would you mind visiting my post and leaving your link in the comments? I almost missed this post.

Appreciate your support and will remember to post in your comments link @keithboone. Living close to rivers and sea birds are plentiful, plenty to share.

I look forward to seeing more of your photos :-)

These are beautiful @joanstewart.
I've been trying my hand on birds photography recently but still need to up my game.

Being a photographer whether amateur or not a camera is always close to hand you never know what is around the next corner, have fun practicing on birds, they can be challenging @abbiephoto

I have a couple of branches like that in my yard where it seems that everyone likes to perch! It does make you wonder what makes a particular spot a favorite. Maybe you are right and it is the view! This is a great selection of bird photos!

Those dry branches right at the top of the tree invite quite a variety of birds, especially smaller birds it appears to make a good look-out point @melinda010100
